Welcome to Oakbank Cottage!
Oakbank is a tastefully modernised and extended traditional Highland cottage, situated towards the west end of Lochcarron village. It is comfortable and well appointed and, having 4 bedrooms, will sleep up to 8 people. Please note, however, that we have lower price bands to accommodate smaller parties. Well behaved pets are welcome.
The cottage stands in an elevated position above road level and there are superb views to the south across Loch Carron towards Attadale. The road on which the property stands is a quiet side road which ultimately leads out of Lochcarron village, past the Lochcarron Weavers, and on to North Strome and Ardaneaskan, where it ends.
There are shops, restaurants and a hotel in the centre of Lochcarron which is about three quarters of a mile away.
Lochcarron is in an area of magnificent mountain and coastal scenery, some of the wildest and most spectacular in the British Isles. It is an ideal base from which to tour Wester Ross, Skye and Lochalsh, with places such as Applecross, Plockton, Shieldaig and Torridon all being within easy reach for days out.
